Why not set intentions with the projects we make? Within each project, we can set intentions to love, lift and help each other, and I'm going to help you!
My patterns will be all about positive intentions, and weaving them into each project. The elements in my patterns will have specific meaning, and I will "spell" it all out in detail.
My first pattern shown above is nearing completion. Here is a small excerpt from the pattern prologue:
"I Am Enough, and You are Enough. Together we will knit these intentions into every stitch of the socks. Whether knitting for yourself or gifting them to someone you care about, the wearer will feel strength and confidence as the feet soak up these intentions; sending the loving energy directly to the heart and soul."

It all started with my friend Camille introducing me to the magic of crochet. Sure, I had a little experience with crocheting around flannel baby blankets, but never a project entirely made of crochet.
Innocently enough, I was challenged to make Helen Shrimpton's "Mandala Madness". I needed lots of help from the videos provided on you-tube, but after awhile, I could read and follow a pattern without them.
One blanket turned into 2, and 2 turned into 11 blankets before the year was over. From there, I made blankets for everyone close to me.
Then Camille and my niece Brittany were intent on getting me into knitting. I was stubborn, and refused their effort at first. I was never going to knit, and I would absolutely NEVER make wearable items.
Oops! Down the rabbit hole I went. I have since made washcloths, baby burp rags, eventually a blanket; but then that grew into a sweater, and LOTS of socks!
I have since learned not to say "never" to either of them.
Yarn has become my constant companion and friend, my emotional support. Yarn provides a way to create beautiful things and escape from the stresses of everyday life. This craft is a gift, and pure MAGIC!
Join me on this journey - lets see where it takes us!!
This is my very first pair of socks. Definitely not perfect, but SO very satisfying to get that first pair behind me.
I proved to myself that I could do something that I perceived to be too hard. I was so excited that I started making socks for everyone!!

Since then, I have been playing with ideas of my own; launching me into writing patterns.
I'm excited you found me! Hopefully you will find inspiration to try hard things, and experience the magic that comes from pushing through and creating something amazing - no matter how imperfect it seems to be in the beginning.
